CFM Air Equipment is the authorized Kaeser distributor for Central and Southern Saskatchewan and also represents a variety of reciprocating, oil-free, and portable compressor product lines.
We are seeking an Outside Sales Representative to join our Regina team. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated industrial salesperson to manage an established territory while developing new business opportunities throughout Central and Southern Saskatchewan. The successful candidate will be supported by an experienced service team, industry-leading products, and ongoing technical training.

They must be comfortable developing new business while maintaining strong relationships with existing customers.
Position Summary
The Outside Sales Representative will be responsible for developing and maintaining customer relationships while identifying opportunities to improve customer compressed air systems. By leveraging CFM Air Equipment's technical expertise, service capabilities, and premium product offerings, the successful candidate will deliver solutions that improve reliability, efficiency, and productivity for our customers.
This position is responsible for assisting existing and prospective customers with technical expertise related to compressed air products and services while working closely with the service department to ensure exceptional customer satisfaction.
Position Responsibilities
Generate Revenue
- Develop and grow sales within an assigned territory by calling on new and existing industrial customers, including competitor accounts and cold-call prospects.
- Focus on sales of compressors, accessories, replacement parts, rentals, energy efficiency audits, service agreements, and system upgrades.
- Maintain a consistent schedule of customer visits, prospecting activities, and follow-up communications to achieve territory growth objectives.
- Prepare customer presentations, quotations, proposals, and RFQ responses.
- Develop creative solutions to customer challenges through a consultative sales approach.
- Maintain current product knowledge through ongoing training and professional development.
Customer Relationship Management
- Earn customer loyalty by responding to inquiries, troubleshooting issues, and coordinating solutions with the service team.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers through regular communication and site visits.
- Work closely with the service department to develop new business opportunities and ensure satisfaction among current customers.
- Ensure timely resolution of customer concerns and disputes.
Sales Administration
- Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, quotations, opportunities, and follow-up activities within the CRM and order management systems.
- Prepare weekly sales forecasts utilizing the CRM system.
- Ensure all orders are accurate and complete.
- Manage expenses associated with territory development, including travel and customer entertainment expenditures.
- Participate in weekly sales meetings and reporting activities.
Secondary Duties
- Assist with branch operations as required.
- Support inventory, shipping, receiving, and service operations during peak periods if required.
- Participate in company training, meetings, and special projects as assigned.
Skills & Qualifications
- Minimum three years of industrial or technical sales experience, preferably within the compressed air industry.
- Degree, diploma, technical certification, or equivalent experience in a mechanical, electrical, industrial, or related field.
- Demonstrated ability to identify, develop, and close new business opportunities through prospecting and relationship building.
- Mechanical aptitude and an interest in learning industrial compressed air systems.
- Experience managing a sales territory and achieving sales growth objectives.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Excellent verbal, written, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Excel.
- Experience using CRM systems is considered an asset.
- Valid driver's licence with a clean driving record.
