Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Painter & Decorator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in both residential and industrial painting, with a strong focus on quality and customer satisfaction. This role requires excellent communication skills and the ability to manage time effectively while working on various projects. The Painter & Decorator will be responsible for enhancing the aesthetic appeal of spaces through painting and decorating tasks.

Duties

Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and priming as necessary.
Apply paint, varnish, and other finishes using brushes, rollers, or spray equipment.
Restore and maintain existing paintwork to ensure longevity and visual appeal.
Rig and build scaffolding or ladders as needed to reach high areas safely.
Collaborate with clients to understand their vision and provide expert advice on color selection and design.
Manage time efficiently to meet project deadlines without compromising quality.
Utilize hand tools effectively to complete tasks accurately and efficiently.
Ensure all work areas are kept clean and organized throughout the duration of projects.

Qualifications

Proven experience in residential painting, construction painting, or industrial painting is preferred.
Strong communication skills to effectively interact with clients and team members.
Excellent time management skills to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Familiarity with various hand tools used in painting and decorating tasks.
A keen eye for detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship.
