Job Overview
We are seeking a flexible and dedicated On Call Sandwich Maker Caterer to join our team. This role involves preparing and serving delicious sandwiches and catering items for various events and clients on an as-needed basis. The ideal candidate will have experience in food preparation, excellent customer service skills, and a strong understanding of food safety standards. This position offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic environment, providing high-quality meals for diverse occasions.

Responsibilities

Prepare a variety of sandwiches and catering menu items according to established recipes and standards
Ensure all food is handled, stored, and prepared following food safety regulations
Assist with meal assembly, presentation, and packaging for catering orders
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and serving areas
Follow all health and safety guidelines to ensure a safe working environment
Collaborate with team members to meet the specific needs of each event or order
Manage inventory levels of ingredients and supplies for efficient operation

Skills

Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, or food service roles within the food industry or restaurant environment
Strong knowledge of food handling procedures and food safety standards
Excellent serving skills with a focus on customer satisfaction
Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced setting
Good organizational skills to manage multiple orders or events simultaneously
Flexibility to work on an on-call basis, including evenings, weekends, or holidays as needed
Basic kitchen skills including meal preparation and food presentation techniques

This role is perfect for individuals passionate about food service who enjoy working in a team-oriented environment while providing exceptional catering experiences.

Pay: $18.25-$19.00 per hour
