The Opportunity

A well-established international industrial equipment manufacturer in the sheet metal sector is seeking a Bilingual Regional Sales Manager to oversee sales operations across Ontario and Quebec. Reporting into senior leadership, this role is responsible for leading a regional sales team, driving revenue growth, developing strategic business plans, and strengthening customer relationships throughout Ontario and Eastern Canada.
The successful candidate will lead a team of technical sales professionals, support key customer accounts, and collaborate cross-functionally with service, engineering, and executive leadership teams. This position is based in the Greater Toronto Area and requires regular travel throughout the assigned territory.

Key Responsibilities

Lead, coach, and develop a regional sales team to achieve revenue and growth objectives
Develop and execute regional sales strategies, forecasts, and business plans
Monitor team performance through reporting, pipeline reviews, and regular meetings
Build and maintain strong customer relationships while supporting key account growth
Collaborate with internal departments including service, engineering, and operations to support customer needs
Participate in the development and execution of sales and promotional initiatives
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting for senior leadership
Support trade shows, customer events, and product training initiatives
Coordinate with international manufacturing and leadership teams regarding inventory, delivery schedules, and strategic initiatives
Travel throughout Ontario and Quebec Canada up to approximately 50% of the time
Occasional travel within North America and internationally may be required

Qualifications

English and French fluency required
3–5 years of regional sales management experience
5–7 years of technical or industrial sales experience
Experience selling capital equipment or industrial machinery
Strong leadership, communication, and relationship-building skills
Strategic thinker with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
Proficient with Microsoft Office and CRM/reporting tools
Valid driver’s license and passport
Ability and willingness to travel regularly

Preferred Assets

Experience within manufacturing or industrial equipment sectors
Familiarity with fabrication, metalworking, or related industries

L’opportunité

Relevant de la haute direction, cette personne sera responsable de diriger une équipe régionale des ventes, stimuler la croissance des revenus, élaborer des plans d’affaires stratégiques et renforcer les relations avec la clientèle partout en Ontario et dans l’Est du Canada.

La personne retenue dirigera une équipe de professionnels des ventes techniques, soutiendra des comptes clients stratégiques et collaborera étroitement avec les équipes du service, de l’ingénierie et de la direction exécutive. Ce poste est basé dans la grande région de Toronto et nécessite des déplacements réguliers dans le territoire assigné.

Principales responsabilités

Diriger, encadrer et développer une équipe régionale des ventes afin d’atteindre les objectifs de revenus et de croissance
Élaborer et mettre en œuvre des stratégies de ventes régionales, des prévisions et des plans d’affaires
Suivre la performance de l’équipe au moyen de rapports, de revues du pipeline et de rencontres régulières
Développer et maintenir de solides relations avec la clientèle tout en soutenant la croissance des comptes majeurs
Collaborer avec les départements internes, notamment le service, l’ingénierie et les opérations, afin de répondre aux besoins des clients
Participer au développement et à l’exécution d’initiatives de ventes et de promotion
Préparer des rapports mensuels, trimestriels et annuels destinés à la haute direction
Participer aux salons professionnels, événements clients et initiatives de formation sur les produits
Coordonner avec les équipes internationales de fabrication et de direction concernant les inventaires, les échéanciers de livraison et les initiatives stratégiques
Se déplacer en Ontario et au Québec jusqu’à environ 50 % du temps
Des déplacements occasionnels en Amérique du Nord et à l’international peuvent être requis

Qualifications

Maîtrise du français et de l’anglais requise
3 à 5 ans d’expérience en gestion régionale des ventes
5 à 7 ans d’expérience en ventes techniques ou industrielles
Expérience dans la vente d’équipements de production ou de machinerie industrielle
Excellentes aptitudes en leadership, communication et développement de relations d’affaires
Esprit stratégique avec de fortes capacités analytiques et de résolution de problèmes
Maîtrise de Microsoft Office ainsi que des outils CRM et de rapports
Permis de conduire valide et passeport requis
Capacité et disponibilité à voyager régulièrement

Atouts recherchés

Expérience dans les secteurs manufacturier ou des équipements industriels
Connaissance des industries de la fabrication, du travail des métaux ou de secteurs connexes
