Full job description

dNovo Group (www.dnovogroup.com) is a Toronto-based digital marketing agency operating since 2011. We work with clients in the legal, medical, and construction industries, delivering a full 360-degree digital marketing approach.

We are looking for a Senior Digital Account Manager with strong SEO and consultative sales experience who can confidently lead client relationships, own SEO strategy, and drive new business opportunities.

This is a senior, client-facing leadership role. We are looking for someone ambitious, proactive, and experienced specifically in managing digital marketing clients within an agency environment.

Key Responsibilities

Client Relationship Leadership
Serve as the primary strategic point of contact for assigned clients
Lead regular client meetings and performance calls
Maintain consistent, proactive communication
Manage client expectations and resolve issues professionally
Build long-term trusted relationships

SEO Strategy & Performance Ownership

Develop and oversee SEO strategies aligned with client business goals
Conduct advanced keyword research and content planning
Identify technical SEO opportunities and growth areas
Perform website audits and provide actionable recommendations
Monitor rankings, traffic, and engagement metrics
Deliver clear, insightful performance reports
Ensure implementation quality across internal teams

New Client Acquisition

Conduct discovery calls with potential clients to understand their business goals, and marketing needs.
Present dNovo’s digital marketing services through video meetings.
Identify client needs and propose tailored digital marketing solutions.
Prepare, present, and follow up on proposals and service recommendations.
Close new deals and contribute to company revenue growth.

Cross-Functional Coordination

Work closely with content creators, developers, designers, and ad managers
Ensure campaigns are executed accurately and on time
Maintain high standards of quality and accountability

Qualifications

2+ years experience as an Account Manager in a digital marketing agency
Strong hands-on knowledge of SEO strategy and execution
Proven experience managing digital marketing clients (not general account management)
Experience in sales / business development (is strongly preferred).
Deep understanding of keyword research, technical SEO, and content optimization
Proficiency with SEMrush, Ahrefs, Moz, Google Analytics, and Search Console
Excellent English communication and presentation skills
Ability to manage multiple client accounts in a fast-paced environment
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Highly organized and detail-oriented
