Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Line Cook/Prep Cook to join our culinary team. This role is essential in preparing high-quality dishes and ensuring smooth kitchen operations. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food, excellent food handling skills, and experience working in a fast-paced restaurant environment. This position offers an opportunity to develop culinary skills and contribute to a positive dining experience for our guests.

Duties

Prepare ingredients and assemble dishes according to restaurant recipes and standards
Assist in food preparation, including chopping, slicing, marinating, and portioning ingredients
Cook menu items with precision, maintaining consistency and quality
Ensure all food safety and sanitation standards are strictly followed
Maintain cleanliness of workstations, utensils, and equipment throughout shifts
Support the kitchen team during busy hours by efficiently managing multiple tasks
Follow serving protocols to ensure timely delivery of orders to guests
Assist with inventory management and restocking supplies as needed

Experience

Prior experience in food preparation or as a line cook in a restaurant setting is preferred
Knowledge of food safety regulations and proper handling techniques
Familiarity with cooking methods, meal preparation, and kitchen equipment operation
Experience in the food industry or restaurant environment is highly desirable
Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail
Strong understanding of food service standards and customer satisfaction principles
