Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced and passionate Chef/Cook to join our dynamic culinary team. The ideal candidate will bring a strong background in food preparation, cooking, and restaurant management, along with leadership skills to oversee kitchen operations. This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to a vibrant food service environment, ensuring high-quality dishes and exceptional customer experiences. Candidates with supervising experience, food safety knowledge, and a commitment to excellence in the food industry are highly encouraged to apply.

Duties

Prepare and cook a variety of dishes according to established recipes and standards
Oversee daily kitchen operations, ensuring efficiency and quality control
Supervise kitchen staff, providing guidance and leadership to maintain high performance
Manage food handling procedures to ensure safety and compliance with health regulations
Coordinate food service activities, including serving guests and managing timely delivery of orders
Monitor inventory levels and assist with ordering supplies as needed
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area in accordance with safety standards
Train new staff members on food preparation techniques, safety protocols, and service standards
Collaborate with management on menu development and special event planning

Requirements

Proven experience as a Chef or Cook in a restaurant or hospitality setting
Supervising experience preferred, with strong team management skills. not a requirement
Extensive knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and food safety regulations
Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment
Excellent leadership qualities with the ability to motivate and manage a team
Strong understanding of the food industry and hospitality standards
Exceptional communication skills for effective serving and customer interaction
Demonstrated ability to maintain high standards of cleanliness and safety in the kitchen
Passion for culinary arts and delivering outstanding dining experiences

Pay: From $17.85 per hour
