Role Description

Equium Group is seeking a skilled and reliable Handy Person / Maintenance Technician to join our property management team. This role is responsible for performing a variety of maintenance tasks, repairs, and inspections across our residential and commercial properties. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, has a strong attention to detail, and takes pride in delivering high-quality work.

Key responsibilities include routine repairs, preventive maintenance, and responding to tenant service requests in a timely and professional manner. This position requires hands-on experience in plumbing, electrical work, carpentry, drywall repair, and general property upkeep. Ensuring tenant satisfaction, property safety, and compliance with regulations is a top priority.

Key Responsibilities

Perform routine repairs (plumbing, electrical, carpentry, drywall, painting).
Troubleshoot and resolve maintenance issues quickly.
Conduct regular inspections and preventive maintenance.
Repair or replace fixtures, flooring, cabinetry, and appliances.
Respond promptly to tenant service requests and emergencies.
Ensure compliance with safety regulations and building codes.
Maintain tools, equipment, and inventory.
Keep accurate records of completed work and materials used.

Qualifications & Skills:

1-3 years of experience as a Handy man/women or Maintenance Technician.
Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
Excellent verbal communication skills.
Ability to identify discrepancies and take initiative in resolving issues efficiently.
Strong collaborative skills with a proactive and adaptable attitude.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Up to $65,000.00 per year
