Full job description

Our client, a leader in air management solutions, is seeking a Mechanical Design Engineer (HVAC – Sheet Metal) to join their team. As a Mechanical Design Engineer, you will be part of the engineering department supporting product development and innovation. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong technical skills, collaborative spirit, and a proactive approach, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Mechanical Design Engineer (HVAC – Sheet Metal)

Location: Mississauga, ON (On-site)

Pay Range: TBD

Shift: Day

What's the Job?

Create detailed 2D and 3D CAD drawings for sheet metal HVAC components using SolidWorks.
Support the design and development of air control and fire safety products to meet safety and performance standards.
Collaborate closely with engineering and production teams to ensure designs are manufacturable and efficient.
Assist in product testing, validation, and documentation to ensure quality and compliance.
Contribute to ongoing design improvements and process optimization initiatives.

What's Needed?

Minimum of 2 years of experience in mechanical or product design, with a focus on sheet metal components.
Proficiency in SolidWorks is mandatory.
Strong understanding of engineering drawings and manufacturing processes.
Ability to work effectively within a team environment and support collaborative projects.
Willingness to learn and contribute to continuous improvement efforts.
