Full job description

Our client is looking for a Billing Analyst to join their team in Acheson, Alberta in an in-office capacity. This long-term contract opportunity is ideal for someone who thrives in a high-volume environment and enjoys working closely with operations, finance, and customers to ensure accurate and timely billing.

Responsibilities:
Generate invoices, credits, and supporting billing documentation using Dynamics 365 and customer portals
Review pricing, billing records, and inventory information to investigate and resolve discrepancies
Coordinate with customers and internal teams to confirm purchase orders, quotes, and work orders are complete and accurate
Validate work order processing and ensure records are finalized prior to invoicing
Distribute invoice packages and maintain organized electronic records and supporting documentation
Support finance and credit teams with accruals, lien documentation, and billing-related investigations
Maintain customer billing profiles, invoicing requirements, and portal information
Monitor billing activities, communicate outstanding issues, and recommend process improvements
Manage assigned tasks within established timelines while maintaining a high level of accuracy
Assist with additional operational and administrative projects as required

Requirements:
2+ years of billing, invoicing, or related finance support experience
Experience working in a high-volume environment with strong data entry accuracy and attention to detail
Hands-on experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 (Finance & Operations or Business Central)
Familiarity with customer billing portals and ERP systems such as SAP or similar platforms is an asset
Ability to investigate and resolve pricing, inventory, and billing discrepancies
Post-secondary education in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field is preferred
Strong communication and customer service skills with the ability to work cross-functionally
Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
Proficiency in maintaining accurate digital records and documentation in a structured office environment
