Full job description

About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Construction Project Coordinator to support multiple construction projects from planning through to completion. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, can manage competing priorities, and works effectively with site teams, subcontractors, and suppliers.

You will play a key role in ensuring projects run smoothly by coordinating communication, supporting procurement, and maintaining accurate documentation.

Key Responsibilities

Assist with project planning, procurement activities, and resource coordination
Issue tender invitations and follow up with subcontractors and suppliers
Support site teams in preparing accurate and complete material orders
Maintain organized and up-to-date project documentation
Coordinate communication between site supervisors, subcontractors, and suppliers
Review subcontractor and supplier quotes for completeness and scope alignment
Prepare bid comparison sheets and summaries to support project decisions
Support quality control inspections and project closeout activities
Monitor project progress and proactively identify potential risks or delays
Ensure compliance with safety regulations, building codes, and company standards
Work on multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail

Qualifications & Skills

Post-secondary education in Construction Management, Architectural/Engineering Technology, or a related field preferred
2–4 years of experience in construction coordination, estimating, drafting, or project support
Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications
Strong organizational and time management skills
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving abilities
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
Experience with AutoCAD or Revit is considered an asset
Bilingualism (French/English) is an asset
