Your role with us:

Reporting to the VP, Product Engineering, The Engineering Product Support Manager will lead the Engineering Product Support team and actively participate in the day-to-day operations to fulfill the team’s responsibilities, serving the needs of external and internal customers. The Engineering Product Support Manager is also a Responsible Member under Volant Oil Tools’ APEGA Permit to Practice.

You will bring to the role:

Minimum 5 years of experience in resource management, mechanical design and experience working in a manufacturing environment.
Experience in leading and managing a team, with a high degree of accountability and outcomes focused.
Mechanical Engineering Degree (or related degree with a strong mechanical component).
Registered as a Professional Engineer (PEng) in the province of Alberta is required.
Experience creating and reviewing CAD documents for manufacturing.
Oil and gas industry experience is preferred, with knowledge of drilling and completion activities.
Proficient computer skills and working knowledge of Microsoft suite.
Experience using API standards (with a focus on API 8C, RP 5B, 5L, 5CT, 7-1, 7-2) is an asset.
Excellent communication, mentoring, and team-building skills.
