Job Summary:

The Receiver will be responsible for accurately receiving, verifying, and recording incoming shipments.

Shift: Monday- Thursday 4pm- 2:30am

Duties of the Receiver:

Receive incoming shipments and compare items to work orders
Responsible for staging orders in preparation for shipping
Responsible for unloading inbound trucks and assisting with loading outbound trucks
Inspect deliveries for damage or discrepancies
Record and report any issues with received items
Label received goods and ensure proper storage
Coordinate with warehouse staff to ensure proper distribution of materials
Use pallet Jacks and or forklift/Raymond reach and counterbalance to bring products and materials to an appropriate location
Maintain accurate records of received goods in the warehouse management system
Assist with inventory control tasks and needs

Qualifications/Requirements:

Previous experience in a warehouse setting preferred
Proficiency with warehouse management systems such as Visual, Microsoft D365, etc.
Ability to operate forklifts, reach trucks, and other warehouse equipment
Knowledge of order picking, loading, unloading, and packaging procedures
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
Must have a valid Ontario G License or Commercial Driver's License having a D-License will be a plus.
The ability to lift up to 50 pounds safely
ERP experience
Deliver materials with a pickup truck as needed
