Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Metal Cap Flashing Installer to join our team immediately. This role involves installing metal flashing components on roofing and building exteriors to ensure waterproofing and structural integrity. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction, carpentry, and handyman work, with the ability to work safely and efficiently in various weather conditions. This position offers an excellent opportunity for individuals experienced in construction-related trades to contribute to high-quality building projects.

Duties

Install metal cap flashing on roofs, walls, and other building surfaces according to project specifications and blueprints
Use hand tools such as hammers, screwdrivers, and drills to secure flashing materials
Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to ensure accurate installation
Perform heavy lifting of materials and equipment safely during installation processes
Apply caulking and sealants to prevent water infiltration around flashing components
Assist with other construction tasks as needed, including carpentry and general handyman duties
Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols at all times
Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently and to high standards

Experience

Prior experience in construction, roofing, or carpentry is highly preferred
Familiarity with hand tools, blueprint reading, and caulking techniques is essential
Handyman experience or background in general construction will be considered a strong asset
Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and work on elevated surfaces or rooftops
Knowledge of safety procedures related to construction sites is required
Previous experience working with metal flashing or roofing materials is a plus
