Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Chef de Partie to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing and cooking high-quality dishes, maintaining food safety standards, and supporting the overall kitchen operations. This role offers an exciting opportunity for individuals passionate about food preparation, cooking, and delivering exceptional food service in a dynamic restaurant environment.

Duties

Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and presentation standards
Assist in food preparation, including chopping, marinating, and portioning ingredients
Ensure all dishes are prepared efficiently and to the highest quality standards
Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations in compliance with food safety regulations
Support other kitchen staff during busy service periods to ensure smooth operations
Handle food with care, adhering to proper food handling procedures
Serve dishes promptly and courteously to guests, ensuring excellent food service experience
Monitor inventory levels and communicate needs for restocking ingredients and supplies
Follow all safety protocols related to cooking, handling hot equipment, and maintaining a safe kitchen environment

Requirements

Proven experience in a restaurant or food service environment, preferably as a line cook or similar role
Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques, cooking methods, and meal presentation
Familiarity with food safety standards and proper food handling procedures
Ability to work efficiently under pressure during peak hours
Excellent serving skills with a focus on guest satisfaction
Experience in the food industry with a passion for culinary excellence
Knowledge of kitchen equipment operation and maintenance
Ability to work as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
Flexibility to work various shifts including evenings, weekends, or holidays as needed
