Full job description

Overview
We are seeking dedicated and hardworking Laborers to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing a variety of tasks that support our operations, ensuring that work is completed efficiently and safely. This role requires physical stamina, attention to detail, and a willingness to learn new skills in a dynamic work environment.

Responsibilities

Assist with the excavation, preparation, and installation of pools, interlock paving stones, concrete surfaces, and landscaping features.
Load and unload materials, tools, and equipment to and from job sites.
Set up and maintain work areas, ensuring job sites are clean, organized, and safe.
Operate basic construction equipment and hand tools, including but not limited to shovels, wheelbarrows, compaction machines, and power tools.
Assist in measuring, cutting, and placing materials to achieve project specifications.
Mix and pour concrete, set forms, and assist with finishing tasks.
Follow safety protocols and company guidelines to ensure the safety of all team members and the general public.
Work collaboratively with other team members to meet project deadlines and maintain a high standard of workmanship.
Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of tools and equipment.
Assist with the removal and disposal of debris and excess materials.
Maintain strong communication with supervisors and other team members to report any issues or concerns.

Experience

Previous experience in a labor-intensive role is preferred but not required; we are willing to train motivated individuals.
Ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50 pounds) and perform physically demanding tasks throughout the day.
Familiarity with basic hand tools and safety equipment is an advantage.
Strong communication skills and the ability to work well in a team setting.
A positive attitude, reliability, and a strong work ethic are essential for success in this role.
