Full job description

Forward Funding is a leading alternative financing company serving small and medium-sized businesses across Canada. We're looking for a highly organized, proactive, and detail-oriented Finance & Administrative Operations Manager to help oversee and optimize our internal operations as we continue to scale.

This is a hands-on role focused on payroll coordination, operational administration, compliance tracking, vendor management, and internal reporting. You’ll work closely with leadership and play a key role in supporting the day-to-day operations of a fast-paced financial services environment.

The Role:

Oversee payroll coordination and ensure accuracy of employee records, submissions, and related documentation
Manage office administration and internal operational processes
Maintain and organize compliance documentation, contracts, and internal records
Coordinate with external vendors, service providers, and operational partners
Track invoices, renewals, and operational expenses
Prepare internal operational and financial reporting for leadership
Help improve workflows, systems, and internal administrative processes
Support leadership with operational projects and day-to-day business needs

What We’re Looking For:

5+ years of experience in operations and payroll
Strong organizational skills with high attention to detail
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Comfortable handling confidential and sensitive information
Strong communication and problem-solving skills
Experience working with payroll systems, reporting tools, and operational processes
