Full job description

Job Summary
We are seeking a friendly and organized Convenience Store Clerk to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide excellent customer service, manage daily store operations, and ensure a positive shopping experience for all customers. This role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced retail environment. Bilingual abilities and experience with retail sales or merchandising are a plus.

Duties

Greet customers warmly and assist with their shopping needs
Operate POS systems for cash handling, sales transactions, and product purchases
Restock shelves, organize merchandise, and maintain visual displays to promote sales
Conduct product demos and upsell items to enhance customer experience
Manage inventory levels and assist with stock organization
Handle customer inquiries via phone or in person with professionalism and courtesy
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the store area
Process transactions accurately while adhering to cash handling procedures
Promote store promotions and new products through effective communication and upselling techniques
Ensure compliance with store policies and safety procedures.

Requirements

Must be over 19 years of age to work in this establishment.
Previous experience in similar business , cashiering, or customer service preferred
Strong communication skills; bilingual or multilingual abilities are a plus
Basic math skills for cash handling and transaction processing
Knowledge of POS systems and retail merchandising practices
Excellent organizational skills and time management abilities
Ability to provide exceptional customer service with friendly phone etiquette
Demonstrated sales skills, including upselling and product demonstrations
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
Reliable, punctual, and able to work flexible hours as needed

Pay: $18.25-$18.50 per hour
