Job Title: Controller Assistant for Auto Dealership

About Us: Join our dynamic and fast-growing auto dealership, Western Auto Group, where we are passionate about providing top-notch services and vehicles to our valued customers. We are currently hiring for the position of Controller Assistant to join our finance team and support our dealership’s financial operations. Candidates must have prior experience and be available to start immediately.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist the Controller in managing the dealership’s financial activities, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records.
Reconcile accounts and ensure accuracy in all financial transactions.
Prepare financial statements and reports for management.
Assist with month-end and year-end close processes.
Monitor and manage cash flow.
Assist in the preparation of budgets and financial plans.
Ensure compliance with accounting policies and regulations.
Support the Controller in various financial projects and analyses.

Qualifications:

Experience working in an auto dealership is Mandatory
Candidates with a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field will be given priority in the hiring process.
Proven experience in an accounting or finance role, preferably in the automotive industry.
Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office, particularly Excel.
Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
