Oakcreek Golf & Turf LP (“Oakcreek”) is not a golf course, but a leading Western Canadian distributor of commercial turf maintenance and specialty equipment, representing trusted brands such as Toro, Yamaha, PistenBully, BOSS Plow, Ventrac, and more.

With 57 years in business, we supply and support equipment used across a range of industries, including golf courses, municipalities, landscaping and grounds maintenance companies, as well as ski hills and winter operations. Our work supports essential services across these sectors, and our finance team plays a key role in keeping operations running smoothly and accurately.

The Opportunity

We’re looking for an Accounts Payable Clerk to join our Finance team at our Calgary Head Office. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys a fast-paced environment, values accuracy, and wants to contribute to a growing organization.

Reporting to the Corporate Controller and AR/AP Supervisor, you’ll play a key role in keeping our financial operations running smoothly while building strong relationships both internally and with vendors.

What You’ll Be Doing

Review, verify, and process invoices and expense claims in a timely manner
Prepare weekly CAD and USD payment runs (cheques/electronic payments)
Track and forecast recurring monthly expenses
Reconcile vendor statements and maintain accurate accounts
Act as the main point of contact for vendor inquiries
Process and reconcile corporate credit card transactions
Investigate and resolve invoice discrepancies
Support month-end processes, reporting, and audit requirements
Maintain organized and confidential financial records
Provide support across the Finance team, including cross-training in Accounts Receivable
Assist with general administrative and clerical tasks

What You Bring

2+ years of Accounts Payable or related experience
Strong understanding of accounting principles and ERP systems (cloud-based an asset)
Proficiency in Excel, Outlook, and data entry
Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills
Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
Strong communication skills and a professional, approachable manner
A proactive mindset with a willingness to learn and take initiative
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively
