A heavy civil construction group in Ancaster, Hamilton, ON, is hiring a 310T Licensed Truck & Coach Technician to perform diagnostics, maintenance, and repairs on fleet trucks and heavy equipment. Ideal candidates are experienced in fleet maintenance and skilled with hydraulics, electrical, and diesel systems. Apply now to join a stable, day-shift role with overtime available! Duties & Responsibilities:

Inspect and diagnose vehicles, equipment, and components for defects, damage, or wear.
Perform mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, and preventative maintenance repairs.
Order and track required parts and ensure timely procurement.
Maintain accurate records, including daily maintenance logs and repair cost estimates.
Test vehicles post-repair to ensure optimal performance and safety compliance.
Ensure all vehicles meet provincial inspection standards and safety regulations.
Work in both shop and outdoor environments, including exposure to weather.

Requirements:

Required:

- Valid 310T Truck & Coach Technician certification.
- Valid driver’s licence with a clean driving record.
- 3+ years of experience servicing trucks and/or heavy equipment.
- Strong knowledge of diesel, hydraulic, and electrical systems with solid diagnostic ability.
- Proficiency using diagnostic tools, repair manuals, and preventative maintenance procedures.
- Physically capable of lifting heavy components and performing hands-on repairs.

Preferred:

- Experience with snow and ice control equipment such as salters, spreaders, loaders, graders, and backhoes.
- Familiarity with electronic control and advanced hydraulic systems.

#SJ1 Compensation:

$38.00 – $45.00/hour starting pay based on experience, certifications, and training.
Annual performance-based bonus.
