'Summary'
'We are seeking a dedicated Instrumentation & Control Engineer to join our team This role is vital in designing, developing, and maintaining control systems that power industrial prime movers, ensuring optimal performance and reliability.'
'Responsibilities'
' Design and develop control systems for industrial prime movers using industry-standard tools.

Conduct feasibility, design operation and performance research of electrical generation and distribution networks
Supervise technicians, technologists, programmers, analysts and other engineers
Prepare material cost and timing estimates, reports and design specifications
Design electrical and electronic components, systems and equipment
Supervise and inspect the installation and operation of electrical and electronic systems and equipment
Develop maintenance and operating standards for electrical and electronic systems and equipment
Investigate electrical or electronic failures
Conduct micro or nanodevices simulations, characterization, process modelling and integration in the development of new electronic devices and products
Commission systems and components
Set up and operate specialized and standard test equipment to diagnose, test and analyse the performance of electrical and electronic components, assemblies and systems
Read blueprints and drawings
Troubleshoot and repair electric motors, transformers, switchgear, generators and other electro-mechanical equipment
Prepare engineering designs and drawings
Conduct root cause analysis to troubleshoot system issues effectively.
Create detailed schematics and electrical diagrams using AutoCAD, Revit, or MicroStation.
Implement system design improvements to enhance efficiency and safety.
Collaborate with mechanical and electrical teams to integrate control solutions.
Support installation and commissioning activities on-site.'
Proven experience with programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and firmware development.
Strong knowledge of electrical engineering principles and system design.
Proficiency in CAD tools such as AutoCAD, Revit, or MicroStation.
Experience with Simulink, MATLAB, or similar simulation software.
Ability to perform root cause analysis and troubleshooting.
Mechanical knowledge is a plus.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Effective communication skills in a team environment.'
