Full job description

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Window Cleaning Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and appearance of commercial and residential windows, ensuring high-quality service and customer satisfaction. This role requires physical stamina, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to safety and efficiency.

Duties

Clean windows on various types of facilities using hand tools, water fed poles, and specialized cleaning equipment
Perform facilities maintenance tasks related to window cleaning, including the use of ladders, scaffolding, and other access equipment
Utilize custodial experience to ensure thorough cleaning of glass surfaces and surrounding areas
Operate heavy lifting equipment safely to handle supplies and equipment needed for window cleaning projects
Manage time effectively to complete scheduled appointments within designated timeframes
Communicate professionally with clients to understand their needs and provide exceptional customer service
Maintain safety standards by following proper procedures during all cleaning activities
Assist with general facility maintenance tasks as needed

Requirements

Prior experience in commercial cleaning, custodial work, or facilities maintenance is preferred
Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and cleaning equipment is highly desirable
Ability to perform heavy lifting and work at heights using ladders or scaffolding safely
Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently
Excellent communication skills for interacting with clients and team members
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining a high standard of quality
Physical stamina to stand, climb, lift, and perform cleaning duties throughout the workday
Valid driver’s license is a plus for travel between job sites
