We’re Hiring!
We are currently looking to fill a full-time, permanent position for a Continuous Improvement Manager in our Operations Department at our Leamington facility.
What You'll Do:
-
Collaborate in developing and executing continuous improvement strategies aligned with short- and long-term company objectives
-
Analyze internal warehouse and DC operations to identify opportunities to increase efficiency, throughput, and quality
-
Lead and implement Lean tools and methodologies including 5S, standard work, visual management, and process flow improvements
-
Facilitate Kaizen events and structured problem-solving initiatives to eliminate waste and improve performance
-
Develop and deliver training programs for supervisors, managers, and frontline employees on Lean principles and continuous improvement practices
-
Coach and mentor leaders on problem-solving and project management techniques, process discipline, and accountability
-
Establish and monitor KPIs to measure improvement initiatives and operational performance
-
Prepare detailed reports to reflect current and forecasted performance, including productivity, cost savings, and process improvements
-
Partner with operations, maintenance, quality, and logistics teams to generate ideas for inbound/outbound flow, labor utilization, and inventory accuracy
-
Standardize processes across shifts and departments to ensure consistency and efficiency
-
Develop and sustain visual management systems to support daily operations and performance tracking
-
Support and lead continuous improvement initiatives related to safety, food safety, and quality standards
-
Promote a constructive culture focused on continuous improvement, operational excellence, accountability, and teamwork
-
Provide reports on targets vs actual results for KPI's as needed
-
Comply with all Health and Safety, Food Safety, Bio Security, and Nature Fresh Policies and Procedure

Complete all physical requirements of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation

What You Bring:
-
Post-secondary education in Operations, Engineering, Supply Chain, Business, or related fields is preferred
-
7+ years of experience in warehouse, distribution, or manufacturing operations
-
Proven experience leading continuous improvement or operational excellence initiatives
-
Strong knowledge of Lean methodologies including 5S, Kaizen, standard work, and visual management
-
Experience delivering training and coaching teams is required
-
Six Sigma certification (Green Belt or Black Belt) is considered an asset but not required
-
Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office, including advanced Excel skills
-
A very high degree of confidentiality and integrity required regarding all aspects of the business and employee matters
-
The ability to gain trust and maintain respectful relationships with employees at all levels and across all departments is critical
-
Strong troubleshooting skills to identify and resolve complex problems with limited information and changing conditions
-
Critical thinking and ability to make decisions in a timely manner; good judgement and fairness is key
-
Effectively prioritizes work
-
Excellent attention to detail and ability to follow directions
-
Comfortable with working in a fast-paced environment and with time-sensitive deadlines
-
Strong verbal and written communication skills
-
Commitment to continuous learning

A valid driver’s license and use of personal vehicle are required as needed

Spanish is a definite asset
What To Expect:

Monday-Friday with Saturdays and holidays as needed
-
Fast paced warehouse environment where temperatures vary from cooler to temperature-controlled areas.

Working with a wide array of people/cultures in a team setting including multiple departments.
-
Occasional lifting up to 50 lbs may be required
-
Balance between sitting, standing, and walking throughout the warehouse
