Full job description

Job Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Warehouse Receiver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for efficiently managing incoming shipments, ensuring accurate receipt and storage of goods, and supporting overall warehouse operations. This role requires familiarity with warehouse management systems, shipping & receiving processes, and equipment operation such as forklifts and reach trucks. The Warehouse Receiver plays a vital part in maintaining smooth warehouse distribution and order fulfillment processes, supporting e-commerce and traditional distribution channels.

Duties

Receive, inspect, and verify incoming shipments against purchase orders using warehouse management systems ( ERP Netsuite) .
Load and unload goods safely using equipment such as forklifts, reach trucks, and other material handling tools.
Properly document received items, update inventory records in Netsuite or similar systems, and ensure accurate stock levels.
Organize and store products efficiently within the warehouse, adhering to safety protocols.
Assist with order picking, packing, and preparing items for shipment to ensure timely delivery.
Support shipping & receiving activities by coordinating with carriers and internal departments.
Maintain a clean, organized work environment to promote safety and efficiency.
Perform basic math calculations for inventory counts, order quantities, and measurements as needed.
Participate in cycle counts and inventory audits to maintain accuracy of stock records.

Experience

Prior experience in warehouse distribution or logistics is preferred but not required; training will be provided for the right candidate.
Familiarity with warehouse management systems is a plus.
Experience operating material handling equipment is a plus.
Knowledge of shipping & receiving procedures, order fulfillment processes, and e-commerce logistics is beneficial.
Basic math skills are necessary for inventory management tasks.
Previous experience in packaging or order picking roles will be advantageous.
Having a PAL ( Possession Aquisition License) is definitely a plus!
