Overview
We are currently looking for several Field Technicians at our Hamilton location. Our ideal candidate has a G or DZ license with a clean driving record, is proficient in general labour tasks such as lifting, pulling and equipment operation, and is safety minded.

Role
This position is responsible for assisting with the cleaning, inspection, and lining of sewer lateral lines within a crew structure.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Work collaboratively with a team in a fast-paced environment with fellow team members, supervisors, and management
- Work as a team and follow directions to achieve “Key Performance Indicators” (KPIs)
- Work in a safe manner and follow provincial Worker Health & Safety Standards under the applicable Provincial Occupational Health & Safety Act.
- Operate Vehicles requiring a G and/or DZ License, including pre-trip inspections and driver logs
- Lower rotator into manholes and set up rollers to perform rotator tests
- Read and understand lateral location information
- Secure manholes
- Pull flusher nozzles out of manholes
- Load and unload materials, tools and equipment for multiple location set-ups per day
- Regulate, erect, and maintain traffic control
- Work in confined spaces and at heights
- Perform a variety of tasks involving dexterous use of hands and tools
- Operate various tools and equipment including but not limited to picks, shovels, power tools, saws and drills
- Perform job site clean-up and maintain job site free of hazards
- Perform a variety of other duties which may often change to support the team and follow directive of Crew Leader and/or Site Supervisor
- Other duties as assigned and as related to the role

Requirements:
- G driver's license with a clean abstract
- DZ driver's license is an asset
- Construction and/or underground infrastructure experience is an asset
- Able to travel for extended periods and work overtime as needed
- Pay rate will vary according to experience and licensing
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $23.00-$25.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 – 55 per week
