Job Summary:
The Receiver will be responsible for accurately receiving, verifying, and recording incoming shipments.
Shift: Monday- Thursday 4pm- 2:30am
Duties of the Receiver:
- Receive incoming shipments and compare items to work orders
- Responsible for staging orders in preparation for shipping
- Responsible for unloading inbound trucks and assisting with loading outbound trucks
- Inspect deliveries for damage or discrepancies
- Record and report any issues with received items
- Label received goods and ensure proper storage
- Coordinate with warehouse staff to ensure proper distribution of materials
- Use pallet Jacks and or forklift/Raymond reach and counterbalance to bring products and materials to an appropriate location
- Maintain accurate records of received goods in the warehouse management system
- Assist with inventory control tasks and needs
Qualifications/Requirements:
- Previous experience in a warehouse setting preferred
- Proficiency with warehouse management systems such as Visual, Microsoft D365, etc.
- Ability to operate forklifts, reach trucks, and other warehouse equipment
- Knowledge of order picking, loading, unloading, and packaging procedures
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
- Must have a valid Ontario G License or Commercial Driver's License having a D-License will be a plus.
- The ability to lift up to 50 pounds safely
- ERP experience
- Deliver materials with a pickup truck as needed
