Job Overview

Our client is seeking a highly skilled and dynamic Executive Chef to lead their culinary team and oversee all aspects of food preparation, kitchen operations, and restaurant management. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in food service, team leadership, and restaurant management, ensuring the delivery of exceptional dining experiences. This role offers an exciting opportunity to shape culinary standards, innovate menu offerings, and uphold the highest levels of food safety and quality. The Executive Chef will be instrumental in fostering a collaborative kitchen environment that emphasizes creativity, efficiency, and guest satisfaction.

Responsibilities

Develop and implement innovative menus that align with brand standards and customer preferences while maintaining high-quality food presentation.
Supervise daily kitchen operations, ensuring efficient workflow and adherence to food safety regulations.
Lead, train, and motivate culinary staff to achieve excellence in food preparation, cooking techniques, and service standards.
Oversee food handling procedures to ensure compliance with health codes and safety protocols.
Manage inventory control, including ordering supplies and minimizing waste to optimize operational costs.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe kitchen environment through regular inspections and staff training.
Collaborate with front-of-house teams to ensure seamless service delivery and guest satisfaction.
Monitor food industry trends and incorporate innovative practices to keep the establishment competitive.
Conduct performance evaluations for kitchen staff and facilitate ongoing professional development.
Uphold hospitality standards by demonstrating leadership in bartending, serving, and overall guest engagement when necessary.

Qualifications

5+ years leading a kitchen
Extensive food service experience across various roles including kitchen management, food handling, and restaurant operations.
Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to manage diverse teams effectively.
Knowledge of food safety regulations, sanitation practices, and health codes pertinent to the food industry.
Experience in restaurant management with a focus on operational efficiency and customer service excellence.
Strong understanding of culinary techniques, menu development, and food presentation standards.
Excellent communication skills to foster teamwork and coordinate with different departments.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
