Job Title: Project Controls Coordinator IV – Field Cost Analyst
Job Location: Various Sites, BC
Schedule: Monday to Friday (extended field schedule during construction)

Safety Sensitive: Drug & Alcohol Testing and Drivers Abstract Required

Allowance: LOA, Mileage and Cell Phone

Our client is seeking a Project Controls Coordinator IV – Field Cost Analyst to support construction projects by providing field-level cost control, forecasting, and reporting expertise across multiple sites in British Columbia.

What's the Job?

Analyze and maintain project contracts, forecasts, and control budgets at the Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) level.
Collect cost data, support estimates, monitor incurred costs, and perform variance analysis and forecasting.
Deliver accurate and timely field cost reporting to project stakeholders.
Facilitate weekly progress meetings with contractor representatives and field leadership.
Perform earned value analysis in alignment with PMO standards.
Complete LEMS entries, analysis, and reconciliation, including vendor invoice matching.
Review contractor schedules and P6 master schedules for accuracy and alignment with project progress.
Collaborate with field teams and central project controls to align reporting, updates, and issue resolution.
Support construction contract management and ensure compliance with control requirements.
Participate in field update meetings related to cost, schedule, and project progress.

What's Needed?

University degree or equivalent construction/operational training and experience.
Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in project controls or cost analysis within construction or industrial environments.
Proficiency with EcoSys PCMS, Oracle Cloud, and Microsoft Office (advanced Excel skills preferred).
Strong understanding of construction estimates, schedules, and cost tracking methodologies.
Ability to work effectively in dynamic field environments while maintaining attention to detail.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
Ability to prioritize workload and collaborate with stakeholders at all levels.
Valid driver’s abstract and ability to meet safety-sensitive requirements (including drug and alcohol testing).
