About Westcore Links

Westcore Links Inc. is a flatbed and heavy haul carrier headquartered in Nisku, Alberta, with terminals in Tillsonburg, Ontario and Houston, Texas. We operate a fleet of 50+ trucks and 70+ trailers with well-maintained equipment. Our specialty is heavy haul, over-dimensional, LTL, and full truckload freight across Canada and the United States.

We are currently hiring experienced local Class 1 drivers to support freight operations throughout Alberta and surrounding areas.

Experienced local drivers can earn $65,000–$75,000 annually depending on workload and availability.

The Work

You’ll be hauling flatbed freight locally and regionally throughout Alberta, with most runs based out of the Edmonton/Nisku area. Drivers are typically home daily or regularly throughout the week.

Day to day, you’ll be:

Transporting flatbed freight safely and efficiently
Loading, securing, and tarping freight to spec
Coordinating with dispatch and logistics teams
Completing electronic logs and required paperwork
Conducting pre-trip and post-trip inspections
Reporting maintenance or safety concerns promptly
Representing Westcore professionally at customer sites

You’ll be assigned well-maintained equipment so you can focus on the job.

What You Need

Valid Class 1 license with clean abstract
Minimum 2 years commercial driving experience
Flatbed experience preferred
Experience with load securement and tarping
Familiarity with Flat Deck, Step Deck, and Curtain Side trailers is an asset
Ability to operate safely in all weather conditions
Strong communication and organizational skills
Proficient in English (reading and writing)
Ability to understand routing and use GPS devices
