Full job description

Job Description:

Rockwood Tree Service Ltd. is seeking a Novice Climber/Bucket Truck Operator to join our professional team in Ajax, ON. This position is ideal for someone with a few years of experience in the tree care industry who is looking to advance their skills in a supportive, safety-focused environment. If you're passionate about arboriculture, enjoy working outdoors, and take pride in doing quality work, we want to hear from you!

Responsibilities:

Assist with tree removals, pruning, and trimming using climbing techniques and aerial lift equipment
Operate a bucket truck and other equipment safely and efficiently
Perform climbing duties under supervision, with opportunities to grow into more advanced roles
Maintain a safe and clean worksite, including brush removal and site cleanup
Conduct daily vehicle and equipment inspections
Collaborate with the crew to complete jobs efficiently and safely

Requirements:

2–3 years of experience in the tree service, landscaping, or related outdoor labor industry
Valid G driver’s license (mandatory)
DZ license preferred
Comfortable working at heights and with power tools/equipment
Physically fit and capable of lifting 50+ lbs
Working at Heights and First Aid certification are assets
Positive attitude and willingness to learn
