There is an immediate need for 1-2 Draft Persons at HVAC Designs, in Ajax, Ontario. If you’re an enthusiastic, self-starting individual with a strong knowledge of AutoCAD and Excel then this position is for you!

HVAC Designs Ltd. has been in business for 26 years. Specializing in residential mechanical design services of heating, cooling and ventilation, we create effective solutions for home builders, architects, homeowners and heating contractors.
TEAM OVERVIEW This is your opportunity to join a dynamic company with a small team that works very well together and has solid, organized structures in place. You will be working from the HVAC Design office, located in Ajax, Ontario. You will be part of a growing team and evolving company.
YOU AREYou are an enthusiastic, self-starting individual who is committed to detail and is interested in improving your skills and knowledge. You thrive in a fast-paced environment where you will meet daily and weekly deadlines and you bring a positive attitude to all challenges.
POSITION OVERVIEWIn this role you will be responsible for producing mechanical designs using AutoCAD, performing heat loss calculations, and sizing ducts with the help of Excel. HVAC Designs will provide comprehensive training if you're not familiar with heat loss calculations or drawing procedures just yet.
JOB DUTIES

Heat loss / gain calculations to be completed daily on housing projects
Mechanical drawings to be drawn
Various other tasks throughout the office as required

BACKGROUND AND SKILLS:

Strong knowledge in AutoCAD and Excel (previous experience as an Engineering Technologist or Technician an asset)
Knowledge of Revit is an asset
Organization and the ability to manage several projects concurrently
Attention to detail to ensure project accuracy and quality of work
Independent worker
Ability to meet deadlines
Must thrive in a fast-paced environment

COMPENSTATION

Salary to be discussed
Standard 40-hour work week 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM on site in Ajax
No travel required
