Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Family Law Clerk to join our legal team. The ideal candidate will assist attorneys in various legal tasks, including research, drafting documents, and preparing for trials. This position offers an excellent opportunity for individuals looking to gain hands-on experience in the legal field while contributing to meaningful legal work.

Duties

Conduct legal research on various family law topics and case law to support ongoing cases.
Draft legal documents, including briefs, motions, and pleadings.
Assist in the preparation of trial materials and exhibits.
Review and summarize case files and legal documents.
Attend court hearings and trials as needed to provide support.
Organize and maintain case files, ensuring all documentation is accurate and up-to-date.
Collaborate with attorneys to develop case strategies and provide insights based on research findings.

Requirements

Strong research skills with proficiency in legal research databases.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Attention to detail and strong organizational abilities.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
Familiarity with court procedures and legal terminology is a plus.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) is preferred.
