Overview
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Piano/voice Teacher to join our music education team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in music and RCM pedagogy certificate, particularly in piano instruction, and a genuine enthusiasm for teaching students of all ages. This role involves educating children in piano techniques, music theory, and fostering a love for music through engaging lessons. The Piano Teacher will work closely with students to develop their skills and confidence while creating a positive learning environment.

Duties

Provide individualized piano instruction to students of various skill levels, focusing on technique, theory, and performance.
Develop lesson plans that cater to the unique needs and interests of each student.
Create a supportive and encouraging classroom atmosphere that promotes student engagement and enthusiasm for learning.
Assess student progress regularly and provide constructive feedback to help them improve.
Organize recitals or performance opportunities to showcase student achievements.
Collaborate with parents to discuss student progress and address any concerns.
Stay updated on the latest teaching methods and music education trends to enhance instructional practices.

Qualifications

Experience working with children in an educational or tutoring capacity is preferred.
A background in Early Childhood Education is a plus, as it enhances the ability to connect with younger students.
Strong piano skills with proficiency in various musical styles.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively convey concepts to students and parents.
Ability to create engaging lesson plans that cater to diverse learning styles.
Patience, creativity, and a passion for teaching music are essential qualities for this role.
Previous experience in a classroom setting or as a tutor is advantageous but not mandatory.
