Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Line Cook to join our dynamic culinary team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing and cooking a variety of dishes in a fast-paced restaurant environment. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with a background in food service and kitchen experience to showcase their skills, contribute to a positive dining experience, and grow within the food industry. Candidates should have a strong understanding of food safety standards and a commitment to delivering high-quality meals to our guests.

Responsibilities

Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and quality standards
Assist in food preparation, including chopping, slicing, and measuring ingredients
Ensure all food is handled safely and stored properly in compliance with food safety regulations
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including equipment and workstations
Collaborate with team members to ensure timely service during busy hours
Follow sanitation procedures and maintain high standards of hygiene throughout the shift
Support meal preparation for special events or catering as needed
Adhere to restaurant policies regarding serving, food handling, and food safety protocols

Skills

Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, or as a line cook in a restaurant setting
Strong knowledge of food handling and safety procedures within the food industry
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
Excellent understanding of meal preparation techniques and kitchen operations
Good communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with team members
Knowledge of serving standards and customer service principles is a plus
Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends or evenings if required

This position is ideal for motivated individuals passionate about culinary arts who want to develop their skills further while contributing to an exceptional dining experience.

Pay: $18.00-$21.00 per hour
