Full job description

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Dental Hygienist to join our dental practice. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in dental hygiene, excellent patient care skills, and the ability to work effectively within a team. This role offers an opportunity to provide high-quality dental services while fostering a positive patient experience. Candidates with experience in dental office management software, orthodontics, pediatrics, or bilingual communication are highly encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

Perform dental cleanings, including scaling and polishing teeth to remove plaque and tartar
Take and develop dental radiographs as needed
Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care
Assist the dentist during examinations and procedures
Maintain accurate patient records using ABELDent or similar dental management software
Provide support with patient scheduling and follow-up appointments
Ensure a clean and sterilized environment in compliance with health regulations
Communicate effectively with diverse patient populations, including pediatric patients and bilingual patients when applicable

Skills

Proficiency in ABELDent or other dental office management systems
Knowledge of orthodontics and pediatric dentistry is a plus
Bilingual abilities are highly desirable to serve a diverse patient base
Experience in dental assisting and understanding of medical terminology
Strong customer service skills with the ability to create a welcoming environment for patients
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced clinical setting while maintaining attention to detail

Pay: $38.27-$61.28 per hour
