Domcor Health, Safety & Security (DHSS) is a fast-growing company in Canada. We are all about quality that can only be built on a foundation of experience, knowledge, and practice. We are looking to hire full-time Dispatchers to join our Campbell River team that can start right away!

A dispatcher plays a crucial role in day-to-day operations and are expected to be detail oriented and able to handle stressful situations with ease. You can expect a competitive wage and a collaborative work environment. Joining our incredible Dispatch team is an excellent opportunity to enhance your talents and make your mark on a rapidly expanding organization!

What you will be doing:

- Scheduling and dispatching Traffic Control Professionals through phone call and text messages

- Coordinating use of Domcor’s equipment for job sites

- Learning our scheduling software and adhering to our processes

- Accessing systems and documents during a call, take relevant notes, and relaying information to key individuals

- Receiving calls and emails inquiring about new contracts or temporary work across BC

- Effectively prioritize situations and make decisions based on the information received

- Attend in house training to ensure you have the knowledge to be successful in your role

What we’re looking for:

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills; proficient reading and writing skills required

- Technically savvy and understand general computer operations including Microsoft Office

- Typing speed of minimum 40 wpm

- Flexibility with various 8-10 hour shifts available

- Team members eager and willing to learn and grow with us!

Job Type: Full-time

Shift: 8-10 hours

Tuesday nightshift 1030pm-0630am

Wednesday night shift 1030pm-0630am

Thursday afternoon shift 230pm-1030pm

Friday afternoon shift 230pm-1030pm

Saturday afternoon shift 230pm-1030pm

Work Location: Remote
