Job Overview
We are seeking a talented Freelance Seamstress to join our team. We specialize in making designer toss cushions and require a seamstress who can execute our vision. This flexible role involves sewing and customizing toss cushion pillows and textiles to meet design specifications. Ideal candidates will have a passion for craftsmanship, attention to detail, and experience in sewing interior furnishings. As a freelance professional, you will have the opportunity to work on diverse projects from the comfort of your own workspace.

Responsibilities

Create, alter, and repair pillows according to designer's requests and specifications
Measure and cut fabric accurately for various projects
Operate sewing machine, serger, and other related equipment efficiently and safely
Collaborate with designer to ensure designs meet expectations

Qualifications

Proven experience as a seamstress or in garment manufacturing or warehouse settings
Strong sewing skills with proficiency in using industrial sewing machines and sergers
Knowledge of fabric types, patterns, and sewing techniques
Excellent attention to detail and precision in work
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Strong time management skills
Prior experience in home design sewing is a plus (drapery, toss cushions, furniture...etc)
Owning your own sewing machine and serger is a big plus

Pay: $25.00-$175.00 per day
