Full job description

Our well-established, manufacturing client in Cambridge is seeking an experienced HR & Payroll Administrator to join their team. If you are a seasoned HR and payroll professional who enjoys working in a hands-on environment, takes pride in accuracy, and can confidently support employees across all levels of an organization, this could be an excellent opportunity.
This newly created role offers the chance to make a meaningful impact within a growing organization by taking ownership of payroll administration and key HR functions. You will play an integral role in supporting employee onboarding and offboarding, health and safety initiatives, payroll processing, and day-to-day HR operations.

Responsibilities:

Administer payroll using ADP Workforce Now, ensuring accurate and timely processing.
Monitor employee time submissions and follow up with service staff and managers to ensure payroll deadlines are met.
Coordinate employee onboarding and offboarding activities.
Maintain employee records and HR documentation.
Support health and safety initiatives, training administration, and compliance requirements.
Assist with benefits administration and employee communications.
Respond to employee inquiries regarding payroll, benefits, and HR-related matters.
Utilize ADP Workforce Now to manage payroll and employee information.

Qualifications:

3+ years of experience in similar role.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to confidently interact with employees at all levels.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Self-motivated and capable of working independently with minimal supervision.
Experience working in a family-owned or entrepreneurial environment is considered an asset.
