Join our Team! AGF is looking for a Production supervisor (evening) for our shop in Kitchener.

About the Role - Your main responsibilities will include:

Supervise and coordinate daily production activities, including cutting, bending, and loading of reinforcing steel (rebar);
Monitor employee performance, provide direction, support training, and enforce discipline when necessary;
Ensure production meets job specifications, quality standards, and project deadlines;
Conduct daily toolbox talks and ensure compliance with occupational health and safety regulations (OHSA, WHMIS);
Liaise with engineering/drafting, logistics, and project management to resolve fabrication issues or schedule conflicts;
Coordinate material flow, inventory checks, and ensure that raw materials and consumables are stocked;
Conduct inspections and be responsible for QA/QC to ensure accuracy and compliance with client and regulatory standards;
Operate within lean manufacturing principles to reduce waste and improve efficiency;
Promote teamwork, safety culture, and continuous improvement initiatives across the shop floor;
Complete shift reports, incident documentation, and timekeeping as required.

About You - The ideal candidate will have the following skills and experience:

5–7+ years of experience as a supervisor in a manufacturing or industrial setting;
Experience in steel, metal, rebar manufacturing, construction products or a related industry;
Strong communication and organizational skills;
Basic computer proficiency (Excel, ERP systems, production software);
Valid forklift certification and/or crane experience is an asset.
