THE OPPORTUNITY
BVGlazing is currently seeking a skilled and self-motivated Industrial Electrician to join our Operations team at our Concord facility. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, repairing, and improving electrical systems and automated manufacturing equipment. Working closely with Maintenance, Production, and Operations teams, you will support equipment reliability, minimize downtime, and ensure our manufacturing operations continue running safely and efficiently. The successful candidate will bring strong electrical troubleshooting skills, a preventative maintenance mindset, and the ability to resolve equipment issues in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
-
Perform preventative, predictive, and corrective maintenance on electrical systems, manufacturing equipment, and automated machinery
-
Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair electrical issues involving motors, sensors, drives, control systems, and production equipment
-
Inspect, test, maintain, and repair electrical components to ensure equipment reliability and safe operation
-
Read and interpret electrical drawings, schematics, diagrams, equipment manuals, and technical documentation
-
Troubleshoot PLC-controlled equipment and automated systems to identify failures and restore production
-
Support installation, modification, and upgrades of electrical systems and machinery
-
Work closely with Production and Operations teams to reduce equipment downtime and improve efficiency
-
Maintain accurate maintenance records, repairs, inspections, and preventative maintenance schedules
-
Identify required electrical components, replacement parts, and inventory requirements
-
Ensure all work is performed according to electrical codes, company standards, and health & safety procedures

Participate as a team member contributing to department and company objectives
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
-
Industrial Electrician (442A) required; 309A Electrician license with strong industrial/manufacturing maintenance experience may be considered.
-
3–5 years of electrical maintenance experience within a manufacturing or industrial environment

Strong knowledge of electrical systems, automation equipment, controls, and troubleshooting methods

Experience troubleshooting PLCs, VFDs, motors, sensors, and control circuits

Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, manuals, and technical drawings

Knowledge of preventative maintenance practices and equipment reliability principles

Understanding of electrical safety standards and workplace health & safety requirements

Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to diagnose and resolve issues efficiently

Computer literacy and ability to maintain maintenance records

Able to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team

Strong attention to detail

Thrives in a fast-paced, deadline-driven manufacturing environment
BASE SALARY RANGE
Final compensation to be determined based on multiple factors, including but not limited to, individual qualifications, experience, expertise, skill set, industry knowledge, etc.
