- Identify recurring failure modes and recommend permanent fixes (component upgrades, wiring improvements, guarding/safety enhancements, standardization).
- Communicate reliability risks, emerging issues, and improvement opportunities to the Maintenance Supervisor and team.
Installation, Projects & Continuous Improvement
- Install, commission, and modify electrical equipment and control panels in support of repairs and plant improvement projects.
- Partner with Engineering on capital projects, equipment upgrades, and commissioning activities.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives by recommending changes that improve safety, maintainability, and performance.
- Assist with contractor coordination and oversight when external electrical support is used; verify work quality and safety compliance.
Documentation, Communication & Teamwork
- Provide clear shift-to-shift handoffs including work completed, outstanding issues, and risk items that could affect production.
- Document completed work and findings in maintenance tracking systems (e.g., work orders, downtime codes, parts used, failure details).
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders—ask relevant questions, provide recommendations, and escalate concerns appropriately.
