Note: All work for this position will be conducted in English.

About the Role

We are seeking an ML Engineer with a strong software engineering background to help build and deploy computer-vision and data-driven systems in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate is comfortable working end-to-end, from messy real-world data and model training to production-grade deployment, while collaborating closely with software and research teammates.

You will work on data pipelines, model development (PyTorch), optimization and deployment (ONNX / TensorRT), and robust software infrastructure (databases, APIs, Docker, orchestration). If you enjoy shipping real systems and improving them iteratively, this role is for you.

Responsibilities

Build and maintain ML pipelines for data ingestion, preprocessing, training, evaluation, and deployment.
Develop and productionize computer vision models with a focus on object detection concepts (datasets, labeling, augmentation, metrics, error analysis).
Optimize inference workflows using ONNX / TensorRT and deploy models into reproducible environments (Docker).
Implement reliable software components around ML systems (APIs, services, integrations, internal tooling).
Design and work with databases and structured storage systems (schema design, query performance, data integrity).
Use task orchestration tools (e.g., Prefect, Airflow, Celery, or similar) to schedule, monitor, and scale workflows.
Collaborate with teammates to review code, improve architecture, write documentation, and ship features quickly.
Troubleshoot performance and reliability issues across data, models, and infrastructure.

Required Qualifications

Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a closely related field.
Strong software engineering fundamentals (clean code, testing, debugging, version control, code reviews).
Experience working with data analysis toolboxes and real datasets (wrangling, cleaning, validation, metrics).
Hands-on experience with PyTorch and deploying models using ONNX and/or TensorRT.
Comfort with Docker and reproducible development environments.
Experience with databases (SQL and/or NoSQL), including practical schema and query work.
Familiarity with computer vision fundamentals, especially object detection (common model families, IoU, precision/recall, mAP, common failure modes).
Able to work in a fast-paced environment: prioritize effectively, communicate clearly, and iterate quickly.
Strong learning mindset; excited to adopt new tools and improve existing systems.

Nice to Have

Experience with workflow monitoring, logging, and observability (metrics, tracing, dashboards).
Experience deploying ML services in production (REST/gRPC, batch pipelines, edge deployments).
Familiarity with dataset management/versioning and labeling workflows.
Experience with GPU performance profiling and inference optimization.
Cloud experience (AWS/GCP/Azure) or Kubernetes.

Qualifications requises

Minimum : baccalauréat en informatique, génie informatique ou domaine connexe.
Solides bases en génie logiciel (code propre, tests, débogage, contrôle de version, revues de code).
Expérience avec des outils d’analyse de données et des jeux de données réels (nettoyage, validation, métriques).
Expérience pratique avec PyTorch et le déploiement via ONNX et/ou TensorRT.
Aisance avec Docker et des environnements de développement reproductibles.
Expérience avec des bases de données (SQL et/ou NoSQL), incluant schémas et requêtes.
Familiarité avec les fondamentaux en vision par ordinateur, notamment la détection d’objets (IoU, précision/rappel, mAP, erreurs typiques).
Capacité à évoluer dans un environnement rapide : priorisation, communication claire, itérations rapides.
Forte capacité d’apprentissage; motivation à adopter de nouveaux outils et à améliorer les systèmes existants.
