Full job description

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper/Room Attendant to join our hospitality team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining a clean, comfortable, and welcoming environment for our guests. This role requires a strong commitment to cleanliness, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting. Prior experience in hotel housekeeping, custodial work, or industrial cleaning is highly valued. The Housekeeper/Room Attendant plays a vital role in ensuring guest satisfaction by providing exceptional cleaning services and maintaining the highest standards of hygiene and presentation.

Duties

Clean and service guest rooms according to established standards, including making beds, dusting, vacuuming, and replenishing supplies
Ensure all public areas, hallways, and common spaces are tidy and well-maintained
Respond promptly to guest requests for additional amenities or special cleaning needs
Adhere to safety and sanitation policies to ensure a healthy environment for guests and staff
Report any maintenance issues or damages observed during cleaning duties
Follow proper cleaning procedures using appropriate cleaning products and equipment
Maintain accurate records of room status and cleaning activities
Assist with deep cleaning projects or special sanitation tasks as needed
Launder linens, including folding and putting away

Qualifications

Previous experience in hotel housekeeping, custodial work, industrial cleaning, or hospitality is preferred
Strong attention to detail with a focus on cleanliness and presentation
Ability to work independently and efficiently in a fast-paced environment
Good communication skills and a friendly demeanor when interacting with guests and team members
Physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks such as bending, lifting, and standing for extended periods
Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and safety procedures is a plus
Reliable transportation or proximity to the work location is advantageous
