Summary:
G Force is currently seeking dedicated and professional Security Guards to become part of our team in Vancouver, BC. In this role, you will play a vital part in maintaining a safe and secure environment for our clients, staff, and visitors. As a Security Guard, your presence will contribute to fostering a welcoming, professional, and reassuring atmosphere where employees and customers can feel confident and at ease. We value individuals who demonstrate responsibility, professionalism, and a commitment to safety.

Job Duties:

Maintain a professional and welcoming presence at entry points and throughout the facility.
Monitor premises to prevent unauthorized access while providing excellent customer service.
Conduct regular patrols of assigned areas and identify, document, and report potential security risks or suspicious activities.
Assist visitors, customers, and employees courteously and professionally.
Enforce company policies, procedures, and safety regulations to ensure a secure environment.
Collaborate with management and team members to address concerns and resolve security-related issues.
Respond promptly and effectively to emergencies, incidents, and disturbances, coordinating with law enforcement or emergency services when required.
Prepare and submit accurate, detailed, and timely incident and activity reports.
Uphold the highest standards of integrity, professionalism, confidentiality, and ethical conduct at all times.

Requirements:

Valid British Columbia Security License (mandatory).
Previous security guard or customer service experience required.
Excellent grooming, presentation, and adherence to uniform standards.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to interact respectfully with diverse groups of people.
Superior observational and problem-solving skills.
Sound judgment and decision-making ability, particularly under pressure.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Comfortable standing and patrolling for extended periods.
Commitment to continuous improvement and willingness to attend training or meetings as required.
