Positions Available:

Swimming Instructor starting rate $22.77 - Swim and LSS Instructor; NL or Bronze Cross; SFA and High FIVE (LSS update clinics available for Red Cross Water Safety Instructors)
Lifeguard starting rate $20.22 - NL and SFA
Cashier/Slide Attendant starting rate $18.13 - Bronze Cross and SFA
Deck Supervisor starting rate $24.80 - AST and all requirements of Swimming Instructor
Seasonal Pool Supervisor starting rate $28.68 - AST and all requirements of Deck Supervisor

What is required to work in Oakville Aquatics?

Required certifications (based on position)
Demonstrated skill in application of lifeguarding surveillance and rescue techniques
Available to work a minimum of 2 shifts a week

As a condition of employment, please note that successful candidates who are new hires and/or who have not performed in this position previously, and who are under the age of 18 at the time of hire, will be required to provide a satisfactory Criminal Record Check. Candidates who are 18 years of age and older at the time of hire will be required to provide a Vulnerable Sector Check. All checks must be dated within the last 30 days.
