Full job description

At Power Surge, you're part of a crew that values your time, skill, and future. We're growing and looking for a licensed 309A Electrician for Service to join our team.

Whether you're on a service call or a commercial install, you'll be part of a team that values your expertise, supports your success, and trusts you to take pride in a job well done.

What You’ll Do:

Trouble shoot and repair residential plug switches and panels change hydro services underground overhead service including Lighting, EV chargers, Generators and Solar systems
Troubleshoot and repair commercial and low-voltage equipment, including PLCs, troubleshoot circuits, and read electrical prints
Diagnoses faults in electrical and electronic components
Install fixtures and devices for industrial applications and systems
Order required parts and control all job materials using our computer system
Complete work orders as per client specifications and input; reviewing the completed job with the customer to ensure complete satisfaction

What You Bring:

Must be a Certified Electrical Journeyperson with 5+ years experience minimum
Residential + commercial experience
Strong knowledge of ESA code regulation and local building codes to ensure all work done is in compliance
Valid G-class driver’s licence
Must be reliable and dependable (i.e. punctual and ready to work).
Must be able to take initiative, work independently as well as in a team.
Must be reliable and dependable
Excellent communication skills
A demonstrated ability to work safely
