Full job description

Overview
We are seeking a motivated and dependable Laborer to join our team. This position offers an opportunity to work outdoors in a dynamic environment, supporting various painting jobsites. The ideal candidate will be eager to learn, physically capable, and possess a strong work ethic. Prior experience in construction or labour is great!

Duties

Assist painting crew with preparation duties.
Operate hand tools and power tools safely to perform various tasks
Support setup and take-down of job sites.
Perform general maintenance tasks with tools and paint sprayers such as cleaning and equipment upkeep
Ensure safety protocols are followed during all activities to promote a safe working environment

Requirements

Experience or familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and irrigation systems is preferred
Attention to detail. Preparation duties and painting duties require critical review to ensure work is performed to quality standards.
Ability to perform physical labor including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods
Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately
Willingness to learn new skills related to maintenance and landscape care
Must be reliable, punctual, and able to work outdoors in various weather conditions
Must have transportation to job sites across Simcoe County

Pay: $22.00-$25.00 per hour

Work Location: On the road
