NOW HIRING: Skid Steer Operator

Job Type: Full Time – Seasonal
Pay: $27–$29 per hour
Start Time: 7:00 AM (yard start)
Hours: 40 hours per week with seasonal overtime

About the Role

Ralph’s is seeking an experienced Skid Steer Operator to support our paving and grading crews.

This role focuses on fine grading, material movement, and site preparation. The base you create determines the quality of the finished project.

Lines matter. Slopes matter. Drainage matters.

We’re looking for an operator who takes pride in precision and craftsmanship.

What You’ll DoMorning Yard Start (7:00 AM)

Complete machine inspection
Grease equipment
Check tracks, hydraulics, attachments, and controls
Report mechanical concerns
Ensure the machine is clean and ready for the day

On-Site Responsibilities

Fine grading driveways, laneways, and streets
Executing grading plans
Managing material placement
Maintaining proper drainage and slope
Coordinating with ground crew for efficient workflow

End of Day Responsibilities

Fuel top-up
Clean machine interior and exterior
Inspect equipment for wear or damage
Report any issues before leaving the yard

What We’re Looking For

2–5 years skid steer experience
Experience with fine grading and site preparation
Strong spatial awareness and precision
Safety-first mindset
Ability to take direction and execute
Pride in craftsmanship and equipment care
