IT International Telecom Canada Inc. is a privately owned subsea network integrator specializing in the design, installation, and maintenance of marine cable systems. This role is responsible to undertake all Accounts Payable tasks, including data entry, problem resolution, payment management and cashflow updates. The ideal candidate is required to have SAP experience, manages end-to-end vendor invoice processing, disbursements, and reconciliations.

Job Duties

Able to process accounts payable invoices accurately in a timely manner.
Ensures in providing daily, weekly and monthly reports on a timely basis.
Able to prepare accurate bank deposits and wires.
Able to communicate with suppliers regarding billing discrepancies.
Reviews accounts payable invoices to ensure that billing is sent to the correct entity.
Process general journal entries as they relate to the AP function including allocations and classifications.
Able to collaborate with other departments to ensure correct coding of accounts payable.
Adept in handling reception and associated duties by providing general administrative support.
Manage the payment process including, cheque creation and wire transfers, and proper review support, ensuring timely processing and adherence to internal control requirements.

Requirements

3 to 5 years successful record in similar position(s).
A.E.C./D.E.C. in a related field, and/or pertinent work experience in an Accounts Payable capacity.
Demonstrated ability to accurately calculate, post, correct, and manage accounting figures and financial records.
A basic knowledge of debits and credits considered an asset.
Experience working with foreign currencies an asset.
Effective attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy.
Strong knowledge of Microsoft O365, Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams, One Drive & Sharepoint. Experience with SAP S4 Hanna Public Cloud or equivalent ERP system.
Sound analytical thinking, planning, prioritization, and execution skills.
Able to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing in English, French required at a functional work level.
Strong diplomatic interpersonal relationship skills.
Strong work ethic, positive team attitude and ability to adapt to changing priorities.
Ability to multi-task, maintain confidentiality, show sound judgement, and be a team player.

Work Conditions

Position based in Montreal
Manual dexterity required to use desktop computer and peripherals.

Responsabilités

Traiter avec précision et dans les délais les factures liées aux comptes fournisseurs.
Préparer et fournir les rapports quotidiens, hebdomadaires et mensuels dans les délais requis.
Préparer avec exactitude les dépôts bancaires et les virements bancaires.
Communiquer avec les fournisseurs afin de résoudre les écarts de facturation.
Examiner les factures fournisseurs afin de s’assurer qu’elles sont facturées à la bonne entité.
Effectuer les écritures de journal général liées aux comptes fournisseurs, notamment les répartitions et les classifications comptables.
Collaborer avec les autres services afin de veiller à l’imputation comptable appropriée des comptes fournisseurs.
Assurer l’accueil et les tâches connexes en fournissant un soutien administratif général.
Gérer le processus de paiement, notamment la préparation des chèques et les virements bancaires, ainsi que les vérifications et pièces justificatives requises, afin d’assurer un traitement rapide et conforme aux exigences de contrôle interne.

Exigences

De 3 à 5 ans d’expérience professionnelle pertinente et réussie dans un ou plusieurs postes similaires.
A.E.C. ou D.E.C. dans un domaine connexe et/ou expérience de travail pertinente en comptes fournisseurs.
Capacité démontrée à calculer, comptabiliser, corriger et gérer avec précision les données comptables et les dossiers financiers.
Connaissance de base des débits et des crédits, considérée comme un atout.
Expérience dans la gestion de devises étrangères, considérée comme un atout.
Grande attention aux détails et souci constant de l’exactitude.
Excellente connaissance de Microsoft 365, notamment Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams, OneDrive et SharePoint. Expérience avec SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud ou un système ERP équivalent.
Solides aptitudes en matière d’analyse, de planification, de priorisation et d’exécution.
Excellentes aptitudes à communiquer en anglais, tant à l’oral qu’à l’écrit. Le français est requis à un niveau fonctionnel pour le travail.
Excellentes aptitudes interpersonnelles et diplomatiques.
Grande éthique professionnelle, attitude positive favorisant le travail d’équipe et capacité à s’adapter à l’évolution des priorités.
Capacité à gérer plusieurs tâches simultanément, à assurer la confidentialité, à faire preuve de discernement et à contribuer efficacement au travail d’équipe.
